Remus has more than 15 years of experience as a business lawyer and consultant, having acted on behalf of various local and international investors in highly sophisticated transactions as well as in day-to-day assistance in diverse industries. Remus is active across multiple areas, combining expertise and adaptive thinking to bring to light the best solutions for his clients. He is an experienced lawyer skilled in Competition Law, Corporate and M&A, Financing, Real Estate, General Commercial and IP and has a proven track record in the FMCG & Retail, Media & Advertising, Telecom & IT, Healthcare, Oil & Gas sectors. Remus is the founding Partner of APTIQ Legal and in October 2020 he has been appointed as the Managing Partner of APTIQ Global Romania and a member of the Executive Board of APTIQ Global. Prior to founding APTIQ Legal, Remus was a Partner within a top local law firm, coordinating the activity of the Competition & IP department and co-heading the Corporate and M&A practice group. As a legal professional, Remus holds a bachelor’s degree in law and administration and has obtained a post-graduate degree in EC Competition Law from King’s College, London. Remus is a qualified lawyer of the Bucharest Bar Association. Apart from his native Romanian, he speaks fluently English and is conversant in French.
